Condi Rice: Bold Faced Liar
On a recent interview, in response to Clinton's statements to Chris Wallace on the Republica Pravda Network (Fox News), Condi Rice told a bold face lie when she said “We were not left a comprehensive strategy to fight al Qaeda,” She then went on to suggest that people refer to the 9/11 commission report to "see what actually happened".
She slit her own throat with that suggestion, because the 9/11 commission report shows that Clinton assertied efforts to combat terrorism. It also shows that Clinton was frustrated with the CIA's and FBI's inability to verify Al Qaeda's connection to the bombing of the USS cole and other acts of terrorism.
The Bush administation, including Condi Rice were all given a copy of
“Strategy for Eliminating the Threat from the Jihadist Networks of al Qida: Status and Prospects” an extensive and comprehensive plan to fighting terrorism. This report was produced under the Clinton Administation by order of Bill Clinton.
On Page 201 of the 9/11 commission report it reads: "Within the first few days after Bush’s inauguration, Clarke approached Rice in an effort to get her—and the new president—to give terrorism very high priority and to act on the agenda that he had pushed during the last few months of the previous administration. After Rice requested that all senior staff identify desirable major policy reviews or initiatives, Clarke submitted an elaborate memorandum on January 25, 2001. He attached to it his 1998 Delenda Plan and the December 2000 strategy paper. “We urgently need…a Principals level review on the al Qida network," Clarke wrote."
Now, answer this one question. How can somebody be so absolutely ignorant enough to claim that the Bush administration was never given any comprehensive plan to fighting terrorism when it's part of the commission report they suggest people advise?
Condi. You've been caught fork tongued and red handed.
