I've become fed up with adult links on the Internet, porn and the majority of the Internet in general.  I had previously written about getting rid of adult links, but I had kept the trusted sites.  However, I don't even need those anymore.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today, I dumped all my adult oriented bookmarks.  Though I am writing some things that could be considered “Adult” they are more in the genre of “romance”.  Seriously, do we really need more smut than what is already out there?  Can't we be sexual, sensual, without the graphic descriptions of a sex act?  Perhaps it's happened to me finally.  I'm bored with Internet porn.  It's not even real to me, no fantasy of unobtainable hot men is satisfying anymore.  I am now dealing totally with reality instead of the fantasy because fantasies only let us down.  We fantasize about being younger, being more fit, being healthy.  Fit and Healthy are obtainable, but going back and being younger and full of all that sexual energy like a rabbit on speed is a thing of the past.  Lets deal with it folks.  Move on and rediscover your own real sexual energies that make reality a great thing to live in.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt; &lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;	I'm just not satisfied with adult sites anymore, it's either “been there”, “done that”, or “eeewwww, hell no”!  I prefer to think that I can be more on line than just another person surfing porn sites.  I like to think I'm better than a statistic of Internet porn users.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt; &lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;	Peer to Peer networks can still be useful, if the use is legal and legitimate.  I mean, I've downloaded Linux operating systems on bit-torrent before and I like that ability to use it because I can get what I need or want much faster.  However, the rest can kiss my ass.  Besides, when I used them in the past, I always ended up with other things I didn't want.  Some rude people would rename files and when I thought it was gay oriented, it turned out to be some hetero porn thing.  I wasn't happy with that.  Well, I have one of those ISPs that doesn't allow most p2p except bit-torrent.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt; &lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;	I'm not going to waste my time on the Internet anymore, I'm just going to do my social networking with my family and friends, read my email, read the news and... of course, have a browser open to useful research sites... plus dictionary.com, thesaurus.com and encyclopedia.com.  Those are useful to everybody... without the bull.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;" align="JUSTIFY"&gt; &lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;	So, when I finish writing my “adult oriented books” they will not be smut, they will be romance, though the situations are adult, they should be no more adult than what you get on TV or in damn good movies.  I mean, we all know what they did, we just didn't have to see it.  It's a breath of fresh air.  Romeo and Juliette got it on, and we never heard the bed creak. I have again run across images that are disgusting.  I like sex, but I prefer experienced and legal aged sex partners.  Hell, my husband is 14 years older than me.  However, nothing kills my mood faster than running across child porn on the internet.  It just seems to reawaken those horrible fears I had as a child under the abuse of a step mother.  Though I was never sexually abused, I understand the trauma of being overpowered by an adult and the emotional issues that can last the rest of your life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Article after article on the internet suggests that the government is working on a way to stop child porn, similar to the idea I had of having ISPs block access to specifically child porn domains.  The only thing that gets in the way of it all is that domains can switch at a moments notice and ISPs can't afford the excessive work to maintain such a system.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So it's just gonna have to start with us, the end users.  We can either try filtering software, which may not work very well at all because of the cunning actions of people who can get around your filter, or we can just start doing what I just did.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just ridded myself of more than half of my adult bookmarks and am only sticking with well trusted websites that I have been visiting for years or have no outside links to those damn directory  top lists (containing many misleading links).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I might even consider ending my adult online activities entirely.  Why do I need to worry about looking at pictures of hot guys when I have very well settled into a relationship that is now seven years strong?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Soon, I'm taking the adult section of my website down and I'm no longer going to work on any hardcore erotica.  I'll simply water down my erotic stories to the more friendly "Gay Romance".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I highly recommend that everybody considers doing what I have done.  Porn isn't exciting anymore, it's just not what makes my relationship with David.  Besides, what good is porn if your mood is ruined by sick websites?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are a lot of google blogs that contain erotic images and porn, but nothing illegal.  I swear, if I ever find illegal images on a google blog, I will quickly report it. Both in marriage arguments as well as the more recent discussions about gays in the military.  I simply don't understand why conservatives are trying to change my point of view about issues that directly affect me.  I'm Gay and I'm going to support Gay rights, you cannot change my mind and expect me to support the denial of my own equality in America. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; So, with approximately three quarters of military personnel saying that they are OK with serving with Gays and Lesbians, I'm wondering why we can't serve openly.  I'm wondering why LGBT's should even serve at all.  Let me explain.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I was in the Air Force, unfortunately, I was only in for eight weeks and medically discharged.  This was in 1990, before the first Bush put operation Desert Shield into place.  So the military was cutting back and I was left out because of flat feet that caused stress fractures in my left ankle.  Had they kept me, they would have wired my ankle together and put me on months of medical hold.  I just wasn't worth it to them because the military was making cut backs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I joined under the falsehood that I was “straight”.  The straightest thing about me was the fake persona I attempted to present to hide the fact that I was Gay.  I was not sexually active in basic training, I did not get excited or aroused, and I was planning to spend twenty or more years in the Military as a career.  All the time, realizing that I would have to deny myself happiness just to serve my country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Now, during the failing Iraq war, the military is stretched so thin, you can see through it and they want to still kick out homosexuals from the forces.  It makes no sense... well fine, kick them out, all 65,000 plus of them.  Why should us gays serve our country when this country doesn't serve us.  You expect Gays to fight to protect rights that we ourselves are denied?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Adultery is not a listed offense in the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice).  Why not?  Adultery destroys families and can result in giving a military unit or the whole military a very bad reputation.  But it's very difficult to prosecute because they require three elements of proof, such as  (1) That the accused wrongfully had sexual intercourse with a certain person;  (2) That, at the time, the accused or the other person was married to someone else; and  (3) That, under the circumstances, the conduct of the accused was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces.  So basically, Adultery almost never results in punishment.  Unlike homosexuality. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Divorce is definitely not an offense in the military.  I don't even have to write an entire paragraph about this subject.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; So, if Adultery is rarely punished, if at all, and divorce is obviously not an offense, why do they target homosexuals?  I mean, the argument about “sanctity of marriage” is a hollow argument when adultery is not a crime under US law, and Divorce is legal.  So arguments against allowing gays to openly serve their country are just as empty and don't even weigh as much as the exhaust that comes out of anti-gay screamers' mouths.  Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Peter Pace declared that Homosexuality was “Immoral”.  Of course you know, that according to the Bible, adultery and divorce are also Immoral.  So the military needs to rethink it's positions.  People are dishonorably discharged for even suspicion of homosexuality, so they should also be equally punished for suspicion of adultery and should not be allowed to serve at all if they have had a divorce.  Because when a heterosexual couple stands in front of that priest and quote the vows, ending with “till death do us part”, divorce is a severe violation of of those vows.  Basically, you have LIED to God.  You Heteros think that you can serve your country with high morals when you lie to your God and fool around behind your legally recognized spouses back?  I ask you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Look.  We pay taxes, we go shopping and pump over 800 billion dollars into the economy every year.  We have jobs and careers, we buy houses, cars, boats, RV's and manufactured goods.   The United States takes our money and runs.  Giving very little in return and treating us like dirt when it comes to equal protection under the law.  With over 1,300 protections that come with “marriage”, we are denied the ability to protect our partners in the event of our deaths.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; So here it goes again, my putting the idea out there that gays shouldn't support the military, serve the country that doesn't serve them and only purchase foreign goods.  Buying on line from foreign lands is easy and if the exchange rate is good, cheaper. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; There it is boys and girls. Last night's mid-term elections also put the equal rights of GLBT Americans in front of the theocratic firing squad.  The only state that didn't vote for bigotry was South Dakota. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In all states that are putting ballot initiatives up against Same sex partnerships, the initiatives not only ban same sex marriage, but also domestic partnerships and civil unions.  So thanks to the language of these unamerican and unconstitutional amendments, it is clear that it's not about "sanctity of marriage" or whatever.  It's obviously about keeping a minority from enjoying the rights that we were guaranteed by the constitution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All those fighting men in all those wars of America's past. Though I am working my butt off, it seems that I can never get some time to finish some writings.  Well that's about to change.  I hope.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have this new laptop, that I got from a rent to own place.  I previously payed off a rent to own contract on a dvd recorder that allows me to record my tv shows onto dvd rams.  just like a vcr, only the playback is more stable and the rams can be erased and rewritten on without degrading quality.  So I figured that since I paid it off, and own it completely, I would use me 2 free weeks to try out a lap top system.  If I don't like it, I don't have to keep it and it won't cost me a thing.  However, if I do like it and I can afford the $96 a month ($80 a month plus taxes total), I will have something I can work on in any room in the house. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The only problem with it so far is the fact that it's a Windows XP system, it has this damn touch pad in the front, and the keyboard layout is totally odd for my fingers.  I really have to concentrate on my typing and errors are very common now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I wonder if there is a way to disable the touchpad.  I'll have to check the control panel or something.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;well, I'll figure it out somehow.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are 4 chapters of "The stagnation of America" up right now as well as one chapter of "Celtic Prince Chronicles". It also shows that Clinton was frustrated with the CIA's and FBI's inability to verify Al Qaeda's connection to the bombing of the USS cole and other acts of terrorism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Bush administation, including Condi Rice were all given a copy of&lt;br /&gt;“Strategy for Eliminating the Threat from the Jihadist Networks of al Qida: Status and Prospects” an extensive and comprehensive plan to fighting terrorism. This report was produced under the Clinton Administation by order of Bill Clinton.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Page 201 of the 9/11 commission report it reads: "Within the first few days after Bush’s inauguration, Clarke approached Rice in an effort to get her—and the new president—to give terrorism very high priority and to act on the agenda that he had pushed during the last few months of the previous administration. After Rice requested that all senior staff identify desirable major policy reviews or initiatives, Clarke submitted an elaborate memorandum on January 25, 2001. You know, the Republican campaigner for W. during the 2000 elections that had the power to stop the recount and hand over the presidency to the man who lost the popular vote.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In recent article, she said: "The Bible says we are to be salt and light. And salt and light means not just in the church and not just as a teacher or as a pastor or a banker or a lawyer, but in government and we have to have elected officials in government and we have to have the faithful in government and over time, that lie we have been told, the separation of church and state, people have internalized, thinking that they needed to avoid politics and that is so wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As if she knows better than the founding fathers or something.  Then she went on to say "If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if you’re not electing Christians then in essence you are going to legislate sin. They can legislate sin. They can say that abortion is alright. They can vote to sustain gay marriage. And that will take western civilization, indeed other nations because people look to our country as one nation as under God and whenever we legislate sin and we say abortion is permissible and we say gay unions are permissible, &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;then average citizens who are not Christians, because they don’t know better&lt;/span&gt;, we are leading them astray and it’s wrong"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Excuse Me? Thus, I feel a little set back sometimes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm rewritting a book that was previously lost to a dead harddrive and working on two others with the same fate. I have having to start over. Currently, a book titled "The Stagnation of America" is in the works and should be released by July or August. It's social, political and religious in work. Mostly a book of opinions, observations and ideas... I sure can be wordy at times and I tend to analyze a lot of our modern nation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When I'm not writings, I'm trying to get some more woodworking done and then tackle this messy house. I hate being the house bitch! I'm not going to ask my husband to do it, he takes care of the yard and his "honey do" list is about ready to cross the state line.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So here I am, stuck in Joshua with no car, needing dental work, needing a vacation and needing a maid, or a houseboy would be nice, if he doesn't mind working for free room and food. Their claims are that they are attempting to defend the "Child Online Protection Act". But to me, it seems more like yet another violation of civil liberties, privacy and the operations of a legitimate business.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Google is, in fact, fighting the subpoena by stating that the request is "over reaching" because is not part of any lawsuit relevant to the case itself. I tend to agree.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In a previous article, I had spoken bluntly about child porn and how it seemed the world was not listening. Still, as time passes, I'm still not being heard on this at all. Still, articles online don't read like it's all about child porn. Instead, Google was asked to turn over records of one million random searches to show how often people search for porn, legal or not. It has almost become a predictable nature for this Administration to not do it's own research and instead, violate the privacy rights of American Citizens... Law abiding or not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Consider how often search engines are used on a daily basis, for homework, celebrities and research on porn, by those who want to violate our first amendment rights to look at legal pornography. Now consider the deep desires for privacy. What would happen if nobody trusted search engines anymore. Would they go belly up? Hell yes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just the fact that anti-porn advocates actually look up porn in search indexes would put them right along with everybody else who may search for anti-bush sites or frequently read blogs that point out the illegal activities of the Government. Are we to be afraid to excercise our rights as Americans? Is paranoia patriotic?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, needing to be pointed out, what about those people who end up clicking one link and finding themselves at a totally different site that does contain adult material or even illegal material. You can't expect everybody to know about pop up blockers or site blockers. Remember, there are still a lot of people out there that would not be able to read Email if it wasn't for the pretty little icon on their desktop.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, there is always the opposite. There are people out there so internet savvy that they can find anything, and they usually get caught when they look up illegal materials. Even so, random use of search engine for adult material is still protected under our rights to privacy, civil liberties and basically being adults. Hell, if they won't even let us look at naked people, then why do they let us drink, smoke, gamble, get drafted, die in wars and own property? Come on you idiots, you are systematically taking away everything that it means to be a free citizen of this country.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We either need to impeach or have a new revolution via the voting booths.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yes, I do believe something needs to be done about child porn. Yes, I think that ISPs should be made aware of child porn sites and block them at the server, giving no access to the clients. Yes, I believe that parents should monitor their children's internet habits. The people of the nation and the Evangelical Religious zealot bigots of Texas have taken the constitution of this nation and wiped their butts with it. They, who are self serving rabid radicals of oppression have turned this nation into a theocracy, just to be cruel and unjust to those who are different than them. They have taken the Washington monument and shoved it up the shaft of the founding fathers who created a nation of equality and freedom for all. They have spat in the face of the men who fought and died to free us from oppression and forged the United States to be a golden opportunity, an American dream. Well, that's all it ever was obviously, just a dream, because when you violate one constitutional amendment because of what some tried and jaded religion says is a “sin”, then you might as well not even have a constitution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: arial;" align="justify"&gt;Amendments to restrict equal recognition and protections of a single citizen is a criminal act it itself, but they've stood at their podiums, pounding the living daylights out of an old book of philosophy and folk tales and got their way in dictating their fascist religious views as law. When the constitution says that congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion, why is religion used as a reason to deny me and millions of others of the equal protections we were supposed to have been guaranteed by the fourteenth amendment?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: arial;" align="justify"&gt;Shame on you, those who don't give a flying flip about your fellow man. You deny, kill, discriminate and vilify anybody who won't bend down and kiss your cult asses because you just can't stand to see people who are not being squeezed to death by your filthy decrepit claws. Does it make you feel better knowing that your views are shared by the KKK? Do you like sticking your ugly faces into the lives of people you don't even know? Do you like repeating the acts of the Nazi who started by denying equal rights to the Jews, by doing the same to homosexuals? Does it make you feel like a patriot when you defecate on the graves of all those who have fought in war after war to defend the constitution and the rights of citizenship?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: arial;" align="justify"&gt;Why do you hate us so much? What did we ever do to you? Nothing! Try as you may, you cannot just suddenly make us heterosexuals by denying us equal rights. Legal or not, we are still not going to walk down the aisle with the opposite sex. Gay parents don't make gay kids, if such a theory were ever true, what does that say about the parents of the the thirty or more millions of gays, lesbians, bisexuals or trans genders? Yeah, think about it, if straight parents can't guarantee having straight kids, why would you ever think that gay parents make gay kids.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: arial;" align="justify"&gt;Please stop with the idiotic idea that being homosexual is a choice. Because in case your too stupid to realize it, people don't choose to be discriminated against. We didn't choose to be targets of hate. We didn't choose to be murdered in the streets. We didn't choose to have you interfering with our lives and our citizenship. The only choice us homosexuals have as far as lifestyle, is whether or not to be happy and accept ourselves. However, it is a well known fact, that parents of gays can be ignorant and cruel, causing their children to die on the streets or take their own lives because their parents just couldn't accept the fact that they had a gay son or daughter. Shame on those parents who have turned their backs on their own flesh and blood. Maybe it's a good thing that they're no longer with you, you loveless sociopaths. It's too bad they had to die though, it would have been a far better thing for them to move on and abandon your sorry excuses for parental obligation of tolerance.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-family: arial;" align="justify"&gt;We will boycott your asses and show you that we have the loudest voices. There I was, eyes closed, toothless and tiny, entering a new world of massive changes. Technology was on the rise, Television was in color, man had gone to the moon and the social structure of our nation was evolving into the true dream of the founding fathers. There was this little person, not even twelve hours old, automatically given rights that defined the country as a nation of freedom and equality. Most of the time, it seems like nothing more than a dream to me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; When I was twelve years old, I realized that I was different, through no fault of anyone or the Catholic upbringing of my Mother. I not only realized it, I felt it with my full heart and soul. But I had already heard the words and the torments of “faggot” and “queer” and I was afraid to be different. My interests in the opposite sex was nothing but a facade to hide what society and Christianity made me believe was a “sickness”. I struggled with the battle between my heart and the only world around me, never brave enough to seek out the gay community I knew existed. At one point, when I had the opportunity to live in another country starting at age thirteen, I lived a double life just so that I could live without crying all the time. It was a country that was socially mature and gave me my first experience with true freedom of heart. I returned with my family when I was sixteen years old. Immediately, I felt the pressure and my closet door slammed shut.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Fast forward to today. I'm thirty five years old and still living in Texas. I have been completely out of the closet for years and refuse to ever go back in. I have come to realize that the nation I was born into was not a place of equality or freedom. The United States is still ruled by Grumpy Old People, ancient white men and arrogant elitist zealots. Our own constitution clearly states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”, yet it is religion that is dictating to us what is right and wrong, legal and illegal. Worse still, is the obvious “in your face” attitude of Christian leaders who preach how their congregation should vote while their church remains tax exempt, even though 501(c)3 regulations require that churches be politically neutral.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; In November, Texas will be voting on a bill to ban same sex marriage. This bill was signed on the grounds of a church by Governor Rick Perry. I therefore suggest that Mr. Perry's signing of the bill be considered illegal as his actions on church grounds respects the establishment of religion as a reason for the ban.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; I also suggest to the American people, that any amendment or law in general that restricts equal marriage rights from any part of the population is in direct violation of the fourteenth amendment's first section which reads “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” I have already heard some conservatives in conversation argue with me that gay marriage is not an issue of rights. If not an issue of rights, then why hasn't there been any legal protections or recognitions for protections to gay couples? If not an issue of rights, then why would there need to be any amendment to define marriage? The idea of defining marriage is a blatant and clear voice denying equal protections to a part of the population.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;Traditional Marriage?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Along the path of my Gay life over the past few years, I have heard the term “traditional marriage” so much, that it has become the biggest historical joke. For thousands of years, the tradition of marriage has evolved to fit the society in which it is practiced. Centuries ago, Women were the “properties” of men. A man chose a woman to gain land and livestock in the form of a dowry. Men chose women based on their skills to either work the land or make yarn from wool and other farm type skills. In other “classes”, marriages were arranged to seal treaties or gain land. Children were a commodity and expected to breed so that the family would continue. Most of the time, it was never about love at all. When two people were married because they actually loved one another, the common social structures of the time looked down on such acts unless it was fortunate that the two who were in love were financially or socially compatible. If they were not compatible, they may suffer in poverty.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; The industrial revolution pretty much changed all that. Suddenly, Marriage was all about love and two people consented to be together for life because more jobs were available to a national and later, world economy. Tradition was set in the ideas of “courting” where a young couple would spend a nice evening sitting on the front porch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Then came the advancements of technology and the amazing moving pictures. Though many felt that traditional marriage would be destroyed forever, the young couples moved from the front porch and into the movie houses and night clubs. Courting became dating and women had gained equal voice and vote.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Moving into the 1960's, we enter the realm of tradition being challenged once again in the case of “Loving vs. Virginia”. Here, a white man and a black woman married and were arrested in their home state because they were in violation of the obscenely bigoted “racial integrity” laws of the state which did not allow blacks and whites to marry. They were put on trial for a crime and had to leave Virginia. Christian religion was again used to justify this concept. The judge stated that God had separated the races and did not intend for them to mix. Luckily, they won their case in the supreme court and history was made with another step up in social evolution.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; In that same decade, the civil rights movement gained equality for people of all colors and in 1969, stonewall became the pin drop heard around the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 51, 255);"&gt;The here and now&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt; We stand looking at the time of My life. The seventies removed homosexuality from it's list of psychological disorders, but the arrogance was still among us. The 1980's gave us Reagan, AIDS, Jerry Falwell and Anita Bryant. By the way Anita, if you read this, Anti-gay comments while being a spokesperson for a fruit juice, really made you the gayest joke on the planet. Jerry Falwell proclaimed AIDS to be the “wrath of God”, ignoring the innocent children that died of it because their mother's did nothing wrong except get hit by a drunk driver and needed a blood transfusion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Through the nineties and today, it was the Religious Morons who pounded the living daylights out of the bible and their podiums screaming about “sanctity of marriage” while Fred Phelps desecrated graves and protested funerals of gay people. Today, Freddie is still active in his public indecency, but has added protesting military funerals and involving children of his congregation members.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Sanctity of marriage is still being heard today, but I feel that anybody who has at least one divorce in their past, has no real credibility to argue on that subject. Seriously, if we are to use to laws to protect the sanctity of marriage, then you will have to support illegalizing divorce and making adultery an offense punishable with a prison sentence. That just might get rid of half of congress and senate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Gay marriage isn't about special rights as the conservatives claim. It's about equal rights, equal protection under the law and showing the world that, yes, the American dream is alive and well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; We are your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers and best friends. You, a parent, look at your child. That little piece of immortality, your miracle baby, the light of your life... your flesh and blood. What if your child grows up to be gay, lesbian, bisexual or trans gendered? Would you want your nation to persecute your own child? Would you want to explain to him or her that you voted against their equality? Do you really want to sentence your own to being a second class citizen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; It isn't about what the bible says. It isn't about what someone preaches as being right or wrong. It's about love, hope, charity, freedom, equality and the fantastic diversity that build this nation. Deny one part of our population the equality of others and you begin to strip down the foundation of America into nothing more than rubble and dirt. This nation, if allowed to stagnate under conservative ideals and afraid to change, will become obsolete while the rest of the world progresses around us. Our constitution says that we are equal. I'm having to re write three books, several articles that were not posted yet and am hoping to recover important personal files such as family photos and other works.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I do not need people coming into my blog and commenting on my writings with information of hair replacement, hair removal, or movie sights. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am now on a newly built computer and will keep an eye on EVERYTHING that comes in here.  You are wasting your time, because as soon as I get an Email notification about any off subject comments that are nothing but posted SPAM. Even though we live in the very state to which I am proposing this boycott, we can be very successful if we use our minds and logic. I had talked to a friend of mine on the Internet, who only came back with confusion at the idea. I wanted to point out some more ways to which this can be achieved. First, I will state the purpose and follow it by describing the illegal actions of Rick Perry. From there, I will layout the plan for the boycott and then extend it to include people living outside of the state who wish to participate. Those who are part of the GLBT community or friendly to our cause are welcomed to join in this important movement to secure equality in the State of Texas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The purpose of this boycott is due to Rick Perry's signing of a Gay Marriage Ban bill on church ground. The signing of such should be considered illegal as he is in direct violation of the first Amendment of the United States. The first amendment specifically reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The signing of the bill on church grounds creates the establishment of religion as the basis for the ban. The second purpose of the boycott is to insure that all people are given equal rights in the state. Gay Marriage is not a special right, it is an equal right. We pay the same taxes, why should we be denied the same protections.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The boycott can be done from within the state by following simple guides laid out below. I welcome any new additions to this list that any reader feels would help.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I propose that this boycott start in November of 2005 after the vote as a response if the ban is voted in.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.The Internet can be used to buy clothing, movies, music and just about everything else. Be sure to buy only from sites that are not Texas based companies or in the state.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2.When possible, Travel across state lines for major purchases. Cars, boats, RV's, home spas, electronics and even manufactured homes and modular homes can be purchased out of state. By giving another state the tax revenue from our purchases, we will be showing what our disposable income is capable of.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3.If unable to travel across state lines, be sure to limit purchases to only items that are necessary, such as food. Abstain from new home purchases for as long as possible, even throughout the entire length of the boycott, which may take as long as two years.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4.When purchasing food, buy only produce, products and meats that are not grown or raised in Texas. Avoid all Texas made products and avoid all products made by Texas companies. Exceptions to this rule would obviously be Gay owned and operated stores or stores that support our cause by not carrying any Texas products.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5.Do not attend Texas theme parks, festivals or any event that is not devoted to our cause for equality. Avoiding as much as possible that is not immediately necessary will begin to drain the Texas economy and let them know that we mean business.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6.If you live outside of the state, you can help us by making sure all your purchases are void of Texas made products. Meats, produce, clothing and electronics from Texas companies can be easily maneuvered around to send a message to the state about how important equality is.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7.Do not vacation or visit Texas. Many parts of the state are supported by local tourist attractions. Just as a previous boycott of Colorado made national attention. We can send a message to every state, one by one, that they will be completely boycotted.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The GLBT communities of this country pump nearly 500 billion dollars a year into the national economy. Now think what would happen if suddenly, not just the GLBT community, but their friends, family and supporters suddenly joined in to secure the rights of their friends and loved ones and for future generations, maybe even their own children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We can be strong and we can be fierce in our boycott against bigoted states. Having to listen to Rush and Sean Hannity is like having the back of your head bored out by a rusty drill bit. You keep listening to them and their callers who nag and rag about the opposing side to their views and try not to bring attention to other issues that do in fact make them look bad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While listening to "talent on loan from oxycontin" and Sean Hannity, I kept hearing them ragging on that poor woman Cindy Sheehan and her peaceful protest outside of W's ranch. She wants to talk to him, why is he avoiding her? The Neocons bitch about how much attention she is getting, but if W would have just spoken to her, it would be over, she would go home, and that would be that. What puts her on the news every night and on every newspaper's front page is the fact that he hasn't met with her as she has requested. One lady on Hannity, called in and ragged "shame shame on her". Hello? What about shame shame on that guy that drives over small crosses, symbolizing those who have died in Iraq. What about shame shame on the guy that fired a shot gun in intimidation near their camp during Sunday morning services.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's amazing that the Neocons will fly off the podiums to scream and bang their fist at flag burners, but they don't say jack squat about a guy who drives over flags and crosses at a peaceful protest. Mainly because the perpetrator was promoting their own views against war protesters.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been asked why I call Rush Limbaugh "talent on loan from oxycontin" and even get bitched at for it. I get the same old stuff over and over again. "he was in pain, he got over it! Stop using it against him". Hmm, yet they still won't let go of Clinton's sexual life or the past of Ted Kennedy. Apparently only Cons deserve forgiveness.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sometimes I have said things that are way off of my beliefs. Such as "I wonder when Rush will choke on a donut on the air" or "well, If I was his left ear, I would go deaf too just so I won't have to listen to him anymore". Now, that is usually so far off of my personal beliefs that nobody should suffer or die. However, I guess no matter how peaceful you are or how much you respect the sanctity of life, something will set you off that will make you say things opposite of your ideals and morals. So I'm human.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, It seems that the Neocons don't have a set standard of morals for anybody opposing their tried and jaded views. Most of them won't be happy until they can rule over us with an iron fist. Rush Limbaugh refers to the National Organization of Women as "Feminazis" and "Nags", without even realizing that all he's doing is pissing off more women who turn around and join NOW. So he's a great recruiting tool for non-conservative organizations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take, for example, the usual Limbaugh-isms that we have come to know oh so well. He resigned from ESPN as a sportscaster after his comments about NFL player Donovan McNabb being "overrated" and followed up by saying "the media has been very desirous of a black quarterback to do well". So what does old Rusty have to say instead of an apology? "the sports media, being liberals just like liberal media is elsewhere, have a desire that black quarterbacks excel and do very well so that their claims that blacks are being denied opportunity can be validated." Regardless of the fact that there is no "Liberal Media", that's a bunch of Neocon paranoia that is totally unsupported. Besides, this was about sports. How the hell do you consider a sports channel "Liberal" and yet still work for them?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Can we ever forget Trent Lott? The man who actually addressed a group of people at Armstrong Thurmond's 100th birthday celebration "I want to say this about my state: When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either." Tell me why Rush Limbaugh would even come to cover for a man who makes such an asinine statement like that! If history recalls, Thurmond ran on a segregationist ticket. During one of his campaign speeches he said, clear as day, "All the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, our schools, our churches." I might also add that Trent Lott's comment was made in a room full of republicans who exploded in applause.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thurmond ran under a party ticket that declared "We stand for the segregation of the races and the racial integrity of each race." So when Trent Lott stands up and and says "We're proud of it", what is he talking about? Racist views are something to be proud of? It's a damn good thing that Thurmond was defeated by Democrat Harry Truman. Limbaugh said, on air, that people against Lott were being "petty" and continued to use his forum to defend Lott with spin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Rusty is just so full of himself, I keep wanting to scream out "for god's sake, take out your butt plug, you're overflowing!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm currently working on another book concerning the Neocon agenda and how to talk to conservatives. I don't know when I will have the book out, but I will start on it as soon as I finish a fictional horror novel. Until then, I am just going to go about my daily routine of coffee and research, then pump out a book that may only have to be 200 pages or so. When talking to neocons, there isn't much to cover as to how. During a news conference he was asked a question about what he would tell gay war veterans returning from Iraq. His response was nothing short of pure unadulterated bigotry stating "I'm going to say Texas has made a decision on marriage and if there's a state with more lenient views than Texas, then maybe that's where they should live”. It might be a point to mention that there are over 65,000 gay veterans living in Texas. Guess what Mr. Perry, that's 65,000 votes you won't be getting come the next election.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the man, who signs a Gay Marriage Ban Bill on CHURCH grounds for crying out loud! He's obviously mixing church and state and he knows not what he does. Those who protested his actions where referred to as “gripers” by Perry. When will we have the nation that the Founding Fathers dreamt of? If the Republican party has their way, NEVER. They're not even aware of the economic power of the Gay culture, and we have the ability to prove it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My solution is quite simple. We must throw down the hammer hard on this state and show them that the days of being held back as second class citizens is OVER. Plain and simple, pure and true.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I propose that all Gay Texans stop supporting the Texas economy. Make all major purchases, such as cars, auto parts, clothing, home spas, hot tubs, and boats in other states and give them the tax revenue. Even if the next state over is also not gay friendly, we'll be showing them the value of our disposable income and possibly make them realize that Gay friendly is a good thing to be. We can even go so far as to abstain from home purchases for a year or more. Sure, it will be tough, but a fight is a fight and they can't force us to purchase only in Texas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Purchasing only from Gay owned and Operated and publically Gay supportive shops and store, for smaller things such as food and immediate life necessities will send a message out that “we will not be held down and beaten”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thankfully, we have the Internet, and so much wonderful stuff can be bought on line without much trouble. There are three of us living in this house and only me and my Husband (David) put any effort into our home. So we're stuck covering for another person all the time. I just don't have the energy to do everything and neither does my man. I need to finish some writing and get them up for sale as well as get some updates done to the site. I'm thinking about downscaling the look so that It's easier for updates, but that'll take a little bit of time too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;David's brother doesn't do a lick of housework, won't help with the yard, brings in more than $1400 a month and spends each and every single day off either in front of the television or in his Adult chat room. When we get on his case he just acts like a little child with his "I work hard for a living" speach and "I just want to enjoy my day off". Somebody needs to get it through his 41 year old head that in reality, people who work harder than him, those who work construction and manufacturing, spend their days off mowing the lawn and helping around the house..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I feel like we're being taken advantage of around here. Both my Husband and I live on disability, yet his brother makes more money than both of us combined. Still, the brother puts the least amount of work and money into the house. With mortgage and utilities, I estimated that if we each put in $120 a week ($480 a month) then that will be a perfect three way split for everything, giving each of us more money to take care of personal business. However, Gary (David's Brother) is only giving us $100 a week, thus shorting us $80 a month, and has been since the day we moved in. With the exception of two weeks that he actually paid more, he currently stands at oweing us $435. That money can give me and David a big boost in buying the materials and completing the workshop for our wood products.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;*sigh* it must be nice to be a perfectly healthy, working American who can take advantage of two people living so far below the poverty line that they don't even have a junk car to get to the store or a doctor's appointment. He can't even support the equality of Marriage for his own brother, who shares the mortgage note with him.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As far as I'm concerned, he better hope that David and I can Marry so in any event, either one of us can get survivor benefits, because if anything happens to me, they can't afford to keep up the house and all utilities, and if anything happens to David, then we still can't keep up the financial burden and (not being legally married), I would have no financial or legal obligations to Gary. So he would be left out in the cold.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amazing. I've been so exhausted lately that I haven't sat in front of the computer for very long the past few days and have even gotten behind on my writings. "Dark Invocation" is getting harder and harder to write and I'm still researching Oceanography for "Nautilus 5". Maybe I'm putting too much on my plate or something.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;David and I have had our five year anniversary yesterday, and I plan on getting something for us to do a little celebration this weekend, maybe a nice bottle of wine. I need to think about what he would like for dinner.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At least I have him in my life, otherwise I would be so lost. It's being with him that gives me the mind to be creative as well as focus on life around the world. I have so much to say, but not enough time to put all my thoughts together in text. However, I still find it most difficult to concentrate on real problems because we're stuck out here in the middle of nowhere. What we really need most is a thousand dollars and a car. Independance is wonderful if you can get it and we're tired of asking others to take us around just for a few food items.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, that's all I have to say for now. Though many had hoped for a non European Pope with a more progressive standing on the evolution of the church, the result of the cardinal election presented a man who is extremely conservative and has ties to a Nazi past. Though I read the news everyday, and keep up with the Catholic church itself, I have to remind myself that this Pope, just as the previous, should have no effect on us non-Catholics.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Over and over, I've heard women say that they would leave the church if they continue to be considered a second class within the Vatican nation. Yet now, many of those are now saying that “no matter what” they can't just abandon the only church they've ever known. I really don't see the “Crisis” that others see. The Vatican has been noticeably losing followers for decades and there hasn't been a mass exodus so far. Still others are pointing out the empty pews, which in those churches, are many. Just last night on television, I saw a church that only had six or seven people in it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;How much influence does the Catholic Church have on the rest of the world anyway? In researching news, I almost got sick. Joseph Ratzinger has had a horrifying history of leaning so far on the right that he has aggressively stood against women's rights, gay rights and AIDS prevention, while pushing for more political involvement. Not to forget that he was named prefect of the “Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith”, which used to be known as the “Inquisition”. All I can think of now is the terrible realization that if the Church of just one religion places it's values on the rest of the world, even those not a part of that belief, it would devastate the freedoms of humanity. I'm not beating up on the Catholic Church, nor any religion. I'm just pressing the hard issues of keeping religion out of the lives of those who do not subscribe to the same doctrine.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Without AIDS prevention measures, such as education and contraceptives, how will the future look? How can we let a disease spread by not allowing proper education and prevention? It's absolutely ignorant. Already we are seeing the failure of “Abstinence Only” courses. It has been proven that there are more unwanted teen pregnancies coming from those in abstinence only classes than there are in traditional sexual education classes. Yet the new Pope may stand on the side of ignorance through non-education of the facts.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;We need to stand firm, even if we have to get back in their faces and tell them “leave me alone”. We cannot allow ourselves to be ruled by the church again. The foundation of the United States was devoted to religious freedom and most of us are descendants of immigrants who came here to escape religious oppression.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;If it ever comes down to a religious war, I'm taking the side of the atheist freethinkers. This nation is almost a small step away from being involved in yet another revolution or civil war. Now there's the common radical belief that a vote against Bush's judicial nominees is a vote against God. Who nominated God anyway? We're talking politics, not religion, and the nation is supposed to be a nation of freedom of religion. How can we allow any one faith to influence the laws and workings of this country?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;I don't vote on an individual's faith, I don't allow my religion to influence my vote either, though the belief in human equality, justice, freedom and the vision of the founding fathers is the basis of how I vote, that is not a religious belief, but a belief in what America is supposed to be. Instead, we get stuck with a bunch of Bible thumpers dictating “what God wants” for the American people. With the Bigotry of the modern Evangelical Christian running rampant like a rabid mob carrying pitchforks and torches, we are, in their eyes, the outcasts that must be destroyed. Typical throughout history, anything that isn't white, heterosexual or Christian, is not deserving of human status.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;It was the ugly colonization of the Americas that wiped out so many natives of this land. They welcomed the white people with open arms, only to be gifted with murder, blankets purposely infected with smallpox, starved out and shoved onto “reservations”. Because of some fictional story about a town called “Sodom”, which never actually said what the sin was, they labeled all homosexual behavior as an abomination. Note, if you will, that the Christian Bible states that the people of Sodom wanted to “know” the visitors. Maybe they just wanted to see who it was, it had nothing to do with the idea that “know” meant “have anal sex with”. Perhaps Sodom's actual sin, not mentioned in the bible, was that they were a city that didn't worship the same God. I believe that Christians are anti-homosexual because the Roman empire was not and since the Romans discriminated against early Christians, they turned around and vilified anything that the Romans accepted. Of course none of that was mentioned either, but then again, you can't take the Bible as actual history, because it's been edited, mis-interpreted, and is only a book of folklore and religious laws of ONE religion. When we get into the new testament, it's the story of a Jewish Rabi, his teachings and eventual death.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;During the period that we called “The Burning Times”, those who were seen as “Witches” were burned at the stake as a result of fear. In some towns throughout early Europe, witch hunters wiped out entire populations of women, children and men. Witches were so feared that some “Good” Christians used that fear to express anger and revenge against their fellow man. It could almost be defined as a method of keeping the IQ of the population at a staggeringly low level. Anybody who studied the nature of the world and universe was a heretic, historically seen as in the case of Galileo. The Spanish Inquisition was an anti-semitic campaign against the Jewish population. They had only two choices, death or conversion to Christianity.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;Now, here in our modern times, we see the same thing going on. If you don't take the side of the Christian population, their beliefs, their politics or their lifestyle, then you're against “people of faith”. They want to dictate that faith is only Christian and that anything else is “wrong”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;OK, fine. I'm voting against God. I don't see him on the ballot anyway. I'm voting for the human factor, our diversity, our individuality and the rights that we are supposed to have in this nation. If we cannot be equal in the country that states that all men are so, then why does this country even continue to exist? Oh wait, maybe it doesn't, the name has stayed the same, but the nation that was built on the declaration of independence and the constitution died out years ago. Especially the use of comic books and children's videos. At least we only had to deal with hell and brimstone sermons one day a week, but these comics are everywhere.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just doing a simple search on line brings up many links to Christian Comic Books. Some have been around for decades and I wonder what impact such works have had on my own generation. Though I am different and accepting of natural and spiritual diversity, many others my age are not. I was raised by parents of the same generation of my friend's parents, so what has kept us so apart? In researching some of these questions, I came across many answers that almost made me sick. Were the next generation, such as my niece and nephew being taught these behind the backs of my sister, who has so far raised them to be open minded and loving?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chick publications produces Christian Thinking comics for all people with an ingenious way of keeping them in the public. Many who buy them for only fourteen cents each, buy in bulk and leave them in public places. Malls, grocery stores and even school playgrounds. Some of these comics promote putting them in the goody bags of “trick or treaters” on Halloween night. But unless you're familiar with them, you may not know how dangerous they truly are. They are the fuels of Bigotry amongst young people and the growth of Evangelicalism is supporting adversity among our population. Chick Publications have produced small comics, known as “Tracts” with horrible messages, berating other religions such as Catholicism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims and Pagans. I am absolutely not surprised that they would be against Paganism, they themselves have vilified the ancient ways of the Pre-Christians for centuries. The Comics even go so far as to portray these and homosexuals, as ugly, stereotypical, and surrounded by demon like creatures that hang on them. The purpose of them is to over promote the idea that everybody must be converted to their ways or those, unconverted, will go to HELL.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In “Allah Had No Son” a boy asks his father on a trip to the Middle East “What are they doing daddy?”, in which the father replies “praying to their moon God”. When a Muslim confronts him on his statement and declares that the religion of Islam is the second fasting growing religion in America. The track then portrays the Muslim as saying “we expect a Muslim flag to fly over the white house by 2010”. It continues to berate a non Christian religion and convert a Muslim.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In “Apes, Lies and Ms. Henn” A substitute teacher who is teaching the required curriculum, and drawn to look sinister, begins to explain evolution. Little Susy, who becomes a regular in many tracts aimed directly at children, leans over to another friend and says “That's a lie”. The teacher asks the girls what it was she said and she replies “I told him the truth, we didn't come from monkeys”&lt;br /&gt;“Are you calling me a liar” Ms. Henn asks?&lt;br /&gt;“No” replies Susy, “you're calling God a liar”. Little Susy explains the bible afterwards in the hallway of the school to a classmate. She tells a boy that God said he made the first dinosaur and then the first man and that all this happened six thousand years ago, not millions. Below that specific panel, it references another track titled “In The Beginning”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“In The Beginning” starts with a man who walks into a room showing off his Dinosaur model, stating that “This creature lived 145 Million years ago”. The other man responds “That's a joke”.&lt;br /&gt;“Hey, my teacher told me that”.&lt;br /&gt;“Your teacher's been brainwashed”. It continues on to analyze the “Big Bang”, creation in six days and that the word “Prehistoric” is a word that was created to brainwash us. As in all other publications from this company, the person who is being “taught” is saved in a single day and abandons the ways they have followed their entire lives, even hard core evidence defeating Creationism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In “Last Rites” a Catholic man is hit by a car and dies after receiving last rites from a priest. However, the angel taking him to face “God” tells him that he is facing god and that the man's hopes of being good enough is a big mistake, the man finds himself perished to hell for being Catholic. When he “realizes” that all catholics are wrong, he asks “why didn't you warn me”? God replies “I did! My servant, who loved Roman Catholics gave you a tract about your false religion”. The man asks “Don't you love the Roman Catholic Church”? To which God replies “How could I John, her false teaching are why you are going into the lake of fire”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These Tracts go on and on. A Jewish Rabi who dies without accepting Jesus as the Messiah is sent to hell. Wiccans are portrayed as having demon like creatures hanging around them all the time, as are homosexuals and Catholics. Worse are the ways that they are drawn. Sinister, weak, ugly and fitting stereotypes. Tracts even portray Wiccans as the general “Witch” defined by anti pagan propaganda, conceiving children especially for sacrifice and labeling all Witchcraft as Satanism.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Freedom&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those that know me, know that I am most certainly a friend of the freedom of speech and of the press. I mean, I'm sitting here writing this and expect my constitutional rights to be upheld. Understandably, so does Chick publications and I would not want to appear as a hypocrite for saying that they don't have the right to produce their hate literature. However, just as we have the right to freedom of speech and the press, we also have the right to not accept or condone the products. Unless of course you ask one of them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Have you ever been walking down a street and somebody just shoves a copy of their religious material into your chest? Have you ever taken one look at the cover, taken two steps past them and tossed it into a public trash can? I have, and the times that they have seen me do so have caused them to react with an “in your face” confrontation. I had one young man grab my arm, turn me around and tell me “if you didn't want to read the words of Jesus, why did you take it”?&lt;br /&gt;“I didn't want it, you shoved it into my gut”.&lt;br /&gt;“I'm trying to save your soul”!&lt;br /&gt;“How do you know I need saving”?&lt;br /&gt;“I can tell, Jesus pointed you out”.&lt;br /&gt;“Well, apparently he's pointing out everybody to you because your little friends across the street are not letting anybody get by... leave me alone”, I walked off.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have also been told in the past that their freedom of speech does not give me the right to toss their material without giving it a chance to tell me why I should convert to their ways. Many times, I just ignore them, but if you tell them “Hey, I'm an American, I have the same rights as you, including the freedom of religion”, their general response is “THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE RELIGION”. So no matter what I say, they are set in their beliefs that I'm going to hell.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;Don't confuse them with facts&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;their minds are already made up.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just as it is their right to produce the material, it is also my right to make sure that I am the last to lay eyes on such. I had been to grocery stores many times and on occasion, have noticed these little books laying around. There is nothing illegal about me taking the comic off of the public bench and tossing it into the trash can. If they believe that they are on a mission to convert, I should have the same right to believe that I am keeping hate literature out of the hands of impressionable young minds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Pagan community does not produce cheap little books and litter them all over the place, and shops that do carry non-Christian religion oriented books do so because those books do sell. There are also Pagan Magazines and newsletters devoted to all aspects of Witchcraft, not just Wiccan. Yet many radicals demand that such books,magazines and other material, described as “dangerous”, be removed from shop shelves, then turn and pitch a royal fit when the shop owner also removes books written by Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell or Bob Larson. Shop owners have the right to sell and not sell a book, they should be left alone. My only true complaint in a bookstore once was the fact that they were selling an anti-new age book by Bob Larson in the “New Age” section. I pointed it out to them and they moved it to the “religious” section, noting that placing it in the previous had been a mistake. It is a practice of good business, that when you devote a section to a target audience, it is best to not place books that insult the customers of that section. I mean, you can find “Scripture Stalls” in so many malls, how many places have to sell only one religion's literature? To the radicals, the only religion that exists is their own and all others are hedonistic, wrong, satanic, false and leading people to hell.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In truth, and it has been my experience that, you can go to any bookstore and find a ton of religious material written for the Christians, while other beliefs are left on lower shelves, in the back, or not present at all. Most of the time, if you want non-Christian materials, you must go to a store devoted to that one specific belief or order it on line.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I keep thinking back on a more simple time, a fictional time in my life, when people were open and accepting of the vast diversity that is our human race. It is my desires to voice my thoughts, feelings and opinions to the world, whether people agree with them or not. I feel that if I use my voice, then I'm making some sort of difference in the world. Of one of the most important things I would like to change in the world, none hold a candle to saving our future, the children of this lonely little planet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I admit that I sometimes go on line and look at new Gay galleries. There is absolutely nothing wrong (in my book) with enjoying adult entertainment. However, there is a hidden part to the Internet guides to sex, whether straight or gay. That hidden part is the unfortunate determination of perversion and underground cultures that exploit the young. Yes, I speak of child pornography. Not all child pornography depicts children is sexual situations with other children, some of it show still images and videos of adults engaging in child rape. I won't even think of the actual term “Molestation”, which is rape, no matter how you look at or think of it. There may even be some people who separate the definitions of rape and molestation with comments like “well that's just touching, there was no penetration”. Bull. The fact remains, any unnecessary, non-consensual touching is rape.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let me explain what I do consider “necessary” touching: The act of a parent, during diaper changes, to inspect the genitalia of their children for cleanliness and health; Applications of medical ointments, creams and powders and actual cleaning during bath times. You cannot expect good and decent parents to avoid these in fear of being labeled a pedophile. Unfortunately, there may be parents out there who have allowed infections or problems to persist due to paranoia. The modern world has made everybody out to be either a victim or victimizer with total disregard for the parents who are taking good care of their children.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Child Protective Services have been hounding good mothers and fathers, who have done nothing wrong other than being good parents, by ignorant suspicious people who think every child is being molested. Most of the time, it is totally untrue and law enforcement is spending most of it's time dealing with crap while the real problems slip through the cracks.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is all thanks mostly to the abundance of the Internet and the access so many sick people have to images and videos of screaming crying children being brutalized by their own fathers, uncles or complete strangers. You almost can't avoid them. Especially if you are one of those people who visit sexually explicit galleries. Links are misleading and sometimes send you to directories that either list child porn sites or misleading links with adult titles that send you to sickening images. The links says “Hunks”... Yeah, maybe in about another fifteen or twenty years. This is not a new problem and it's not showing any signs of weakness either. As a matter of fact, it's a severely growing situation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here are my findings in just one day on the Internet. Free galleries are supported by advertisers, click on a link and a new browser opens up to a different site each time, they basically have a variety of sites in rotation from the same page. Some of them end up in “top lists” directories, that lead to other directories or even to the exact same page you're on. Scrolling down in the list of sites on these top lists (without clicking on those links), it becomes obvious to anybody able to read that these are child porn sites. I might add a suggestion here that we should most certainly utilize pop up blockers. In my early days on the Internet, without blocks, I would get window after window popping up into new sites so fast, that I spent more time closing them than I did actually finding what I wanted. Most of the time you close one and three pop up in its place. It was literally “Internet Hell”. Whatever you do, do not turn off your pop up blockers. Sometimes you have trouble opening a new browser because you have it on, but trust me... if you turn them off, you will end up seeing things that either make you mad or extremely depressed. I tend to get angry after having spent two years of my youth being emotionally and physically abused by a step mother. I know how I felt and I cannot even fathom what a child rape victim would go through. If my experiences were traumatic enough, what do you think is the result of such extreme abuses?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The next type of access I found is most certainly the most disturbing. The newsgroups. Newsgroups are easy to identify, but experience has told me to not even bother, it's mostly crap anyway and just a great place for spammers to advertise products in multiple groups. Though I was recently told that all problems were taken care of, I decided to look into it myself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don't have newsgroup access through my ISP, but since Google has bought out Deja, I felt that this would be a good place to look. To my surprise (NOT), I found that nothing has changed and it's even easy to find newsgroups in alt. Listings for “pre teens”. Some messages including links to kiddie porn.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If Google is not going to do something about this sort of behavior, then who will? I guess it's up to us to take matters into our own hands and do everything we can. Now the big question comes up. Who's going to listen to us?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The centers for missing and exploited children have a cyber tip hot line. I've sent them plenty of notices, but somehow, I still run into those illegal sites. How much is it going to take to tear them down permanently? Years ago, there was some free gallery site that allowed people to submit images on their own pages. I found so many of the pages that were filled with pictures of little children being raped, that I emailed the web master. I heard nothing back from him. I emailed him at least three or four more times after that and still heard nothing. Mind you, this was before I found the cyber tip line. Finally, I began to click the links to his advertisers, most of them being adult verification services. I emailed them about the activities depicted on the website that they advertise on and finally achieved my goal. After they went to the website and saw the stuff for themselves, they emailed me back and thanked me for letting them know and that they were canceling his account. They would no longer be paying him to advertise on his site. I did the same thing with all his advertisers and eventually, the site was no more. Even today, I can enter the URL into my browser and find that the domain is for sale. I am sure that the AVS sites contacted the right people and were responsible for the site's demise.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;As The Problem Grows&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are all familiar with the the most obvious problem that has taken up so much conversation and discussion on line, P2P networks. I had heard so much about file sharing ever since Napster was the big news story and took great interest in the technology then. However, as the ability to file share grew, so did the mass amounts of information available, including the illegal. Just searching for an adult file, such as the word “Gay” indexes illegal files with words such as “preteen”, “pedo”, “underage” and “Illegal”. Without even trying, it is possible to find material that has most certainly come at the expense of a child's innocence and exploitation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are even those out there who rename files to sound legal (18yo, twinks, hunks, men), when instead, they are far too young to even grow pubic hair. I came to the point that I really didn't trust any file coming off of the Peer to Peer Networks. Even today, I am weary of them as I can still access one or two and see no changes in how the service operates.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Searching on line, I found petitions to P2P networks asking them to filter keywords in order to block illegal materials and monitor the systems. So far, it doesn't seem that there are any filters in place.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Anonymity&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I very much believe in Anonymity on line, privacy and security are a necessary factor of our Internet lives. Without security, our livelihoods and our credit is at stake. However, Some companies have opted to not monitor the activities within their networks in order to secure clientèle and make money on advertisements. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with making money, but when they allow child pornographers to distribute such harmful material over the Internet, it's degrades the value of the services. Not that they have much value overall, due to the multiple lawsuits filed on behalf of the MPAA and the RIAA.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Should we have to deal with the side effects of privacy and security by allowing some people to get away with providing sickening videos to the public? I don't believe so. I think we just might have to make the sacrifice of getting rid of all P2P networks that allow mass searching, indexing and downloading of files. The truth of the matter is that we are unable and definitely unwilling to shut down the sources that provide Internet access, so we must shut down the source of the problems. I never thought I would say that, I've always been a big supporter of free information trade and many people use P2P networks to distribute legitimate and legal files. Those who are law abiding moral citizens of this world will be the ones who will pay the price for the illness of others.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is what it's going to take if we are to secure the Internet for the future and make it the valuable resource it was originally intended for, we must attack these weirdos at every conceivable turn. We must give them no amount of respect or even recognition in society except for the idiots and sickos that they are. I don't want to see pedophiles on the streets, I want to see them on the evening news wearing a nice set of silver bracelets and a bright orange jumpsuit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To do all of this, we must make changes to our browsing habits. I have already removed every adult gallery link from my bookmarks, I have removed every site that shows any nudity, whether artistic or adult related. I am not going to take the chance of a site sending me to some other place that carries illegal porn links or images. As a matter of fact, I'm giving up the entire adult entertainment sites all together. I've been let down and it's creating a problem amongst our supposedly “evolved” society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have also uninstalled P2P clients, save one... Bit Torrent, which I use to watch foreign televisions shows that are not licensed here in the United States. At least people who post torrents are providing safe files. However, other networks, accessed by WinMX, Edonkey, Kazaa, Limewire or Morpheus are still a place to find illegal files whether you want to or not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Cybercops&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:arial;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Can you imagine that we would live in a time where cops don't have to wear a uniform and drive around in vehicles, issuing tickets for violations? Today, the breed of law enforcement, called “Cybercops” are surfing the net and reporting illegal sites to the authorities. Even I've been tempted to trace the IP addresses of people in the P2P networks and turn them in. All that has to be done is search for what you want, and catalog all the usernames in the networks that share file with names that are described as “illegal”. The only problem is, is that real cybercops and online information both say to not go looking for child porn or you may end up being suspected yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course, I'm not talking about actively looking for it, I'm just suggesting making notes when you do run into it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What will happen if we don't get rid of these problems? Well, think of it this way. Our economy was OK without the Internet, and we can do quite well without it again. But do we want to see the Internet die just to get rid of child porn sites and illegal trades over P2P? Do we want to limit ourselves to the old ways of catalog orders for everything not available locally? That is a possibility if we are unable to crush the perversions of the Internet's underground. If the Internet is not going to actively be part of the solution, then it's going to remain access to the problems. Servers and hosts should take closer looks at what is going on and shut down the kiddie porn sites, newsgroups, and lists that make them available.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Only then will we have the ability to quiet our minds, ease our paranoia and end our “suspicious of everything” attitudes.
